Yellowstone's Advance Reservation Window

The reservation booking window accepts reservations for stays up to 13 months in advance*. Specifically, on the 5th of each month, we'll begin accepting reservations for the same entire month of the following year.The hotels and several campgrounds in Yellowstone are managed by Yellowstone National Park Lodges (www.yellowstonenationalparklodges.com) and can be booked online up to 13 months in advance. Other campgrounds in the park are managed by the National Park Service and can be reserved on recreation.gov in advance.Although an entrance pass is required to enter Yellowstone National Park, vehicle reservations are not needed. You are encouraged to purchase an entrance pass before arriving to save time, but you may also purchase passes at any entrance station upon arrival.

When should I plan for Yellowstone : The best times to visit Yellowstone National Park are from late April to May as well as September through early October.

Guests with reservations at the Old Faithful Inn can make reservations up to 60 days prior to arrival.

Dinner reservations are recommended; visit in person or call 1-866-439-7375.

While breakfast and lunch are first come-first served, reservations are required for dinner and can be made in advance for hotel guests and same day for day visitors.

The Lodge is included in the Old Faithful Historic District. Compared with the Inn, which is a full-service hotel, the Lodge provides only dining, social, administrative and registration services for lodgers, who are accommodated in detached cabins surrounding the Lodge.
